The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Unglaub Kübler Media UG (haftungsbeschränkt)

12207 Berlin
Germany

Represented by: Lukas Unglaub
Email: info@unglaub-kuebler.de

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the conditions of Art. 37 GDPR in conjunction with § 38 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) do not apply to our company.

2. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website runs on a server located in Germany. The infrastructure is provided by ZAP-Hosting GmbH, Hafenweg 8, 48155 Münster, Germany. The provider processes data exclusively on our behalf and is contractually bound by a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Each time the website is accessed, data is automatically stored in server log files: the page accessed, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, truncated IP address, browser type and operating system. This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and the prevention of attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Log files are deleted automatically after 7 days. They are not merged with other data sources.

3. Cookies

This website uses technically necessary cookies and, optionally, statistics cookies. Necessary cookies are required for the operation of the site and cannot be disabled. The legal basis is § 25(2) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All other cookies are only set with your explicit consent under § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Necessary cookies: We set exactly one necessary cookie. It stores your cookie decision (ukm_consent, lifetime one year, SameSite=Lax) so that you are not asked again on every page view. Your language selection is reflected in the page URL and is not stored in a cookie.

Statistics cookies: Matomo, only if you have given consent. Matomo is configured to run cookieless. If the statistics category is not enabled, Matomo is neither loaded nor are any related cookies set.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting the ukm_consent cookie in your browser. You will then be able to make a new selection on your next visit.

4. Web Analytics with Matomo

We use Matomo to analyse website usage, an open-source solution that we operate on our own infrastructure in Germany. No data is transferred to third parties and no data is transferred to third countries.

Matomo runs cookieless and does not store cookies on your device. It processes usage data such as pages visited, time spent, referrer URL and technical details about your browser and operating system. Your IP address is truncated before storage and thereby anonymised. The data is not merged with other sources and is not used to identify individuals.

Analytics are carried out solely on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. In addition, Matomo respects your browser's Do Not Track setting.

5. Contact Form and Project Requests

When you use the contact form or the project request form, the data you enter is processed in order to handle your enquiry.

Via the contact form, this covers your name, your email address, optionally your phone number and your message. Via the project request form, it additionally covers your company name, your WhatsApp number, your preferred way of being contacted and your details on the type, timeframe and budget range of the project. Mandatory fields are your name, your email address and your message or the type of project. All other details are optional.

The data is stored in a database on our server and additionally sent to us by email.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as the processing serves to carry out pre-contractual measures. Your data is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.

We delete your enquiry 6 months after it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. If a contractual relationship is established, the commercial and tax retention periods of up to 10 years under § 147 AO and § 257 HGB apply.

6. Spam Protection and Abuse Prevention

To prevent automated bulk enquiries and misuse of our forms, we limit the number of submissions per sender. For this purpose, each time a form is submitted, your IP address is stored together with the endpoint addressed and a timestamp. We also use a form field that is invisible to you and only filled in by automated systems, and we check whether a plausible amount of time has passed between loading and submitting the form. Neither of these two checks involves any additional storage.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing misuse under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This data is deleted automatically after no more than 2 hours and is not evaluated for any other purpose.

7. Email Communication

If you contact us by email or submit an enquiry through a form, the transmitted data is stored in order to process your request. Notification and confirmation emails are sent via an SMTP server.

Our domain and our email accounts are provided by Gericke KG (MC-HOST24.de), Mühlenstr. 8a, 14167 Berlin, Germany. The provider processes data exclusively on our behalf and is contractually bound under Art. 28 GDPR. Transmission is transport-encrypted.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related communication, and otherwise our legitimate interest in handling your enquiry effectively under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Contact via WhatsApp

Our website features a button that lets you contact us via WhatsApp. This is a plain link. Simply visiting our pages transmits no data whatsoever to WhatsApp, and no WhatsApp content is loaded.

Only when you actively click the button are you redirected to WhatsApp. From that point on, the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland applies. WhatsApp then processes your phone number and the content of your messages, among other data. A transfer of data to third countries outside the EU, in particular to the United States, cannot be ruled out. We have no influence over this processing.

Using this channel is entirely voluntary. You can always reach us by email, phone or via our contact form instead. For more information, see the WhatsApp privacy policy.
