Background

Anne-Karin Schmidt is a physiotherapist who has spent more than 25 years supporting people recovering from physical and emotional injuries. Her previous website builder page could barely be adapted, looked interchangeable and took nothing off her plate: appointments, vouchers and a newsletter simply did not happen there.

Objective

A fresh start rather than a renovation, with features that save time in everyday practice life:

• appointments booked online, confirmed automatically by email
• vouchers sold on the site and redeemed later
• a newsletter of her own
• content she manages herself, without asking us
• visibility in search

Solution

Appearance. We developed the rebranding and redesign from scratch, presented drafts and worked in her feedback. No purchased template.

Appointment booking. Working hours, holidays and individual exceptions are stored, and the site calculates the available slots itself. After a booking, confirmation, calendar entry and cancellation link arrive by email automatically.

Vouchers. Available and payable online around the clock, with the finished PDF ready immediately. Redemption happens in the practice, with a receipt.

Newsletter. Sign-up with a confirmation email, an unsubscribe link in every issue, sent from her own system.

Self-managed content. She changes texts, images and prices without us, with a preview before publishing.

Visibility. Built for search engines from the start, from structure and copy through to the technical groundwork.

Outcome

A website builder page with no functionality has become a tool for everyday practice life. Bookings, vouchers and the newsletter run in one system, with no monthly fees for third-party providers. Anne-Karin Schmidt is considerably more visible online than before, keeps growing steadily and can change her site whenever she likes.
