Ongoing care for the website of a Berlin daycare provider, maintained inside the platform they already use.
Background
Mary Poppinz gUG runs three kindergartens in the south-west of Berlin, on Beethovenstraße, Finckensteinallee and Mariendorfer Damm, with 100 places between them. For parents, the website is the first port of call: the provider’s concept, each of the three locations, a gallery, registration and contact.
That site does not run on a system of ours. It runs on the administration platform the provider already uses. What was needed, therefore, was not a new website but someone to look after the existing one reliably.
Objective
Keep the site current, reachable and useful for parents, without pushing the provider into a platform migration. So we work inside the existing CMS rather than alongside it.
Solution
Maintenance inside the existing system. We familiarised ourselves with the provider’s administration platform and maintain the site where it already lives. For the client that means one point of contact, no migration and no duplicate costs.
Content kept current. Copy, images and the details of the three locations are updated whenever something changes. The provider gets in touch, we take care of it.
Staying reachable. Registration and contact are the most important paths on the site. Making sure they work and that enquiries arrive is part of the job.
Outcome
The provider can concentrate on the work in the kindergartens instead of wrestling with a content management system. The site stays maintained without a relaunch being necessary. And if one day more is needed than the platform can offer, that will be a deliberate decision rather than an emergency.
